we're having soooo much fun...

Unfortunately I forgot my cord to connect my camera to the computer so I can't show any pics yet, but I have LOTS to share when we get home!

Saturday we went to the beach and it was fabulous, the kids all loved it ESPECIALLY Tessa!!! She would go out in the water a bit and then once the wave started to get close she would shriek with joy and run back up on the beach. Caleb made a friend (as usual) to jump in the waves with and Jonah searched for shells.

We spent the day there and then that night we went to Wonderworks for the Magic Show Dinner- it was hilarious and Ryan even got called up to help with a trick. I highly recommend it- it's all you can eat salad, pizza, popcor and drinks and extremely entertaining. Not to mention the Wonderworks house is upside down and Tessa is still giggling about it :)

Sunday we spent the day at Magic Kingdom. We had lunch at the Crystal Palace (courtesy of sweet friends of ours, thank you guys!) and had lunch with Winnie the Pooh and Friends. It was Jonah's birthday and they brought him a cupcake, sang Happy Birthday and gave him a birthday card signed by all of the characters. There were just a few rides Tessa and I couldn't ride (she was a little too short and I was a little too pregnant) but there weren't any lines- I think the longest we waited for any rides (if at all) was about 15 minutes- so we never waited long. But we would watch and take pics of the guys on the ride if we could. We were there all day, about 12 hours! Tessa was such a trooper and walked almost the entire way! We planned on renting a stroller if she needed it but she never once complained of being tired. I highly recommend taking a backpack with water and snacks, it saved us time and money! Tessa loved the fireworks at the end and this time we took the ferry instead of the tram and it seemed much quicker getting across.

Monday was a relaxing swim day, there are 2 super fun pools here, one with a small water park and one with a spiral slide. We stayed in and made spaghetti for dinner and the kids were asleep by 8 pm. (When we first arrived Ryan ran to a Walmart and grabbed some pantry staples like bottled water, juice, bread, apples, bananas, milk, cereal, granola bars, cheese and crackers, peanut butter, jelly, english muffins, cookies, yogurt, spaghetti stuff, etc. It has been so nice having things here to eat so we don't HAVE to go out for every meal.

We swam this morning and are heading to Downtown Disney for lunch and shopping (they have a Lego Store!), something new for us :) Tomorrow is Epcot, something else that's new for us!!!

we're in Orlando...

We arrived yesterday- the kids were SO GOOD, really they couldn't have been any better. We had to get up at 4:15 am to catch our flight, but no one got cranky and they took naps on the plane. People actually complimented us on how good our kids were, I'm sure they saw us coming to sit by them and were thinking "greeeeeat."

So we checked in, our condo is fabulous, 2 bedrooms 2 baths, all new and decorated so cute and beach themed. We pushed the full sized beds in the kid's room together and they are all sharing a huge king sized bed now with Tessa in the middle :) The condo is perfect and big enough for chase and hide and go seek :)

can you believe...
There's a big flat screen plasma tv on the wall in the living room that comes with FOUR remotes and DIRECTIONS. Ryan spent about 30-45 minutes trying to figure it out and then told me to try. I tried and gave up after about 30 minutes. So this morning we jokingly said "hey Caleb" (our 6 year old) "come figure out this tv." He looks over the 4 remotes, picks up one, pushes a few buttons and BAM, the TV is ON! Took him about 15 seconds. Unebelievable.

There are storms predicted for Orlando today so we are heading to the coast and going south til we find a sunny beach. Off to tan (and hopefully not burn like last time!)

names, moo cards and sneak peeks...

After finding out we're having a GIRL(see her beautiful pic below!) I have been searching girl names and thought I 'd share a few of my faves. These are just ones that I like, hubbie's been out of town so we haven't been able to discuss any of them yet!

Abbey- "source of joy"
Anna- "Grace"
Annalise (a)- also "grace"
Ava
Eden- "Delight" ---one of my FAVES!
Evelyn (Evey, Eve, Evie, Evy for short)- "life"
Faith
Moriah- "chosen by God"
Maggie- "pearl"

Any other ideas? I'd love to hear them. Ryan likes biblical names, I just like for them to have a good meaning or be a family name :)

We had several boy names we both liked but have yet to agree on a single girl name (of course!)

Also, I ordered these Moo cards from Flickr last week and I love them! They are a bit smaller than regular business cards, but they fit prefectly in the new little bags I got to ship my jewels in. You can pick any images you want (I chose a whole bunch of different ones, I heart variety!), they can all be the same, or all different, and I got 100 for $19.99. Aren't they fun?

Here are a few sneak peeks of things that will be listed next week while I'm gone:

love day giveaway!!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

I woke up this morning to a loooong massage- my back, feet, head, etc. Ryan could be a masseuse, he knows how to find all of the knots and work them out and make everything feel all better. I had planned on making the kids heart shaped pancakes this morning, but once the massage started I wasn't stopping it for anything, and thus we ran out of time for the homemade pancakes. They got frozen waffles instead :)

So let's have a fun Valentine's Day giveaway... just post here what would be the BEST Valentine's Day present you could receive today. Your DREAM present.

I'll pick a winner TOMORROW, so post quick! And post as many times as you'd like, I'll do the random number generator in the morning to pick a winner!

The winner gets to pick from this custom sterling heart necklace made with any name or word:

Photobucket

or this "love birds" necklace:

I thought those were appropriate for Valentine's Day :)

My dream Valentine's Day present...I would LOVE a maid for the day, to come a clean my house while I sit around sipping iced tea and eating bon bons :D I'll keep dreaming...

My parents are coming up to watch the kids tonight so Ryan and I get to go out, that's the next best present :)

Hope you all have a FABULOUS heart day!

baby love...

We find out February 19th the sex of our baby, I can't wait!!!

I've been doing some Etsy window shopping, here are some of my faves:

I love this binky blankie from Etsy seller joeyandaleethea. They have lots of great fabrics to choose from and I love the soft minky fabric on the back. I have to get one of these once I know what colors to pick!

If we're having a girl I think I'll get this pink one, I'm a HUGE fan of Amy Butler's Belle! Check out their blog here!

I love these frames, wouldn't they be sweet with some cute baby faces in them? They're from fabricationsbylin.

This diaper bag is from Clutterbags and I love the Fresh Cut fabrics she chose! It has great pockets for holding all of baby's stuff!

These. are. adorable. From JustKiddn.

Thia diaper clutch is perfect for when you don't want to carry around the whole diaper bag. It fits up to 6 diapers and wipes and they have lots of fun fabrics to choose from. Made by gorgeousbaby

More yummy Fresh Cut fabrics in this set of burp cloths from tinyluxuries, aren't they pretty?

so I went to the doctor...

and I have bronchitis. Which totally explains why I've been coughing since Monday.

She gave me 2 prescriptions, one for an antibiotic and one for coughing to help me sleep. It was one of those walk in clinics you go to on the weekends. I checked with her twice and with her nurse that they were okay to use since I'm preggo. They said yes but I didn't feel convinced.

So when I dropped them off at the pharmacy I asked the pharmacist to please verify they were safe for me since I'm preggo. He said definately yes to the antibiotic, but after looking up the other one he read to me "only if absolutely needed in pregnant women"..."MAY cause fetal harm"..."not 100% safe"... and he said he wasn't going to let me have it.

THANK GOD I asked and THANK GOD he took the time to really find out for me. When Ryan picked up my meds a bit later the pharmacist commented that he couldn't believe the doc had prescribed that one! Scary.

So hopefully I will stop coughing soon, at least enough to get a decent night's sleep :)

cross-eyed for bubbles...

This picture of Tessa trying to blow bubbles makes me smile! You can see her one bubble in the right corner, she's still learning...

Jonah jumped in and blew some good bubbles for Tessa to chase:

*love birds*

new on eBay, click HERE...

I came down sick again this week :( I think 3 weeks of a household being sick is ENOUGH, don't you? My hubbie has been such a trooper, doing the dishes, taking the kids out and cleaning up while I layed in bed comatose. Today I managed to wash some laundry and Lysol EVERYTHING. I'm on the upswing :)

***side note*** I plan on listing a few things on eBay over the next few days and then will take off for the strike (no buying or selling Feb. 18-25th, which means no listing after the 10th or it will end during the boycott). During the strike I plan on deciding if I will continue with eBay or go over to Etsy full time. I'm afraid if I do that my customer base may go way down, as there are many more shoppers on eBay, but feel the increased fees may not make it worth my time on eBay. I'd love to hear other opinions from other buyers and sellers, if sellers leave eBay will our customers follow us? What do you plan to do?

eBay strike...?

Who's doing this???

I'm not sure a 1 week strike is going to change anything with eBay (although I wish it would) because most sellers and buyers will be back after a week and they know that.

There have been similar strikes before and yet the fees keep going up and the feedback system is getting worse.

I say let's all move to Etsy :)

just a day at the park...

Today it was a whopping 82 degrees! So after I picked up the kids from school we headed to the park with bikes, bubbles and bread for the ducks. We were there for about 3 minutes and I was ready to pull my hair out.

As we get out of the van I ask who wants their bike.

Caleb: "Me."
Jonah: "Can I have bubbles?"
Tessa: "Bubbles!"

So I get out Caleb's bike and he pedals off. I lock the van and give Jonah his bubbles and before Tessa's bubbles are even opened yet Jonah says "Can I have my bike now?"

Okay. Take back Jonah's bubbles and as I unlock the van I ask "Tessa do you want your bike?"

Tessa: "No, just my bubbles."

So I get Jonah's bike out of the van and just as I close the door Tessa says "I'm ready for my bike now. Here's my bubbles."

Sigh.

Give Jonah his bike, take Tessa's bubbles, going back into the van for Tessa's bike. Close it, lock it, put the bubbles by the tire so we can walk to the duck pond. But I forgot to get the bread out. Unlock the van, get the bread, relock.

Caleb speeds back "OH! Can I do bubbles now? I want to blow them on the way to the pond."

Unlock the van, put his bike inside, give him his bubbles.

Caleb: "But I want my bike too."
Me: "You can't blow bubbles AND ride your bike."
Caleb: "I'll blow them for the ducks."

Okaaaaay. Unlock the van, get the bike out, wait for him to get his bubbles in his pocket just right, relock the van. Proceed to duck pond all 3 kids on bikes. Within 3 steps Jonah jumps off his bike, "I want to RUN!"

ARG.

Unlock, put his bike back, relock, then hustle to catch up with kids. We FINALLY made it to the duck pond, but Tessa didn't want to ride her bike back and asked me to go get her bubbles for her instead...

8 years today...

Today is our 8 year wedding anniversary!!! Happy Anniversary Ryan!

A little bit about us... I came to Tulsa as a freshman to play collegiate soccer and he was our athletic trainer (a senior), he taped up our injuries (sore ankles, pulled muscles, etc.) I had alot of "injuries" that year :D

We became friends over pool tables, practical jokes and long soccer trips, and there was always lots of laughing :)

He proposed to me on the soccer field, it was the first place we saw each other---the first day of pre season practice. I thought he was pretty cute, so I asked the other soccer girls about him, but the upperclassmen told me he would never date a soccer girl...

3 years later we got married :)

Tonight we are headed out for dinner and some alone time to just be "us"...

This song playing "Son of a Preacher Man" was the recessional at our wedding- Ryan's Dad is a pastor of our church :) All of the girls (including me) went barefoot and we had our toenails painted red!

tutu fun and my guys...

I got the itch to make Tessa a tutu to run around in, and she LOVES it!!! I took her with me to pick out the colors and she picked them all!
Photobucket
Word to the wise: if you have cats, put them away BEFORE your little girl starts running around in her tutu if you want to avoid shrieks of terror thinking the cat is attacking her when actually he just can't resist all of that moving tulle!!!

Just a couple of cute shots of my guys, aren't they all so handsome?
