I have a rule that when one of the kids gets a new toy then they can have it all to themselves for 24 hours. That way they get to enjoy it without someone else "accidently" breaking it or hogging it. After the 24 hours it's time to share.
Jonah recently got a couple of new toys that Caleb was drooling over to get his hands on- a spy kit and a cap gun set. So after the 24 hours was up I told Jonah it was time to share.
He replies, "Yeah, I really should. Cuz in the Bible it says 'thou shall share your toys.'"
Exactly.
